It is official by the end of the month I will be the owner of a TO-35 Deluxe. My buddy is being transferred and I have agreed to buy it from him. I just bought a brush hog for it at an auction this past weekend.

I need to use this tractor to plow snow on my 200' driveway with a hill. I realize I could just use the rear blade on the 3 pt hitch. But I would rather have a front mount plow. So, I need some help. Will a plow off of a Ford 8N or other N-series fit? What about other Ferguson models? What do you all think about this plow that I found on ebay? (see link)

I could really use your help. I look forward to using your knowledge in the future on my TO-35!

Those plows aren't that great. I am up in a suburb of Rochester, NY. Occasionally we get lot's of snow. I have a neighbor with an 8N and one of those, and it is easy to get stuck. The bars that run under the tractor reduce the ground clearance, and if you ever hang it up, it takes quite a lot of work to unstuck your tractor. I think it would work OK if you were parked in a garage, and ready to get right on your driveway, and plow yourself out. Both myself and my neighbor keep our tractors in barns, and have a drive to the driveway. With my backblade, I just raise it and go, but he has to plow his way out.

Neighbor if you luck out and get this plow -- even though its quite a drive to Iowa -- and for some reason you are not satisfied, let me know. I'd rather drive to PA than IOWA anyway. The snow Jeep is suffering from cancer and failing parts and this may be a viable alternative!!

it looks almost identical to one i sold a coulpa years ago. it will NOT fit the TO-35! the "35" is a bit longer. these units are only good if you do not need the 3pt. and have a very flat area to work. the blade will only lift about 4 to 6 inches off the ground.

I e-mailed the seller who said indeed the TO35 is 2" longer than the 8N. He did say however that I could just move the pins back on the under fender bracket to make it fit. This seem reasonable to everyone? Iowa would be a long drive...but if it goes cheap it may be worth it!

to move those under axle barckets would require you to either make new brackets or weld the brackets to the axles. the blade units like this do not have adj. brackets. (at least the ones i have seen)

Justin I have a plow for my TEA-20 that is not very useful, Its an original Ferguson Manure Loader. The older gent that I bought my tractor from had it converted to a snow pusher. With the hook ups that came with the tractor, I was limited to what I could do with it. The loader hooked up in such a way that you could only raise the loader up and down. The 3-point hitch was useless, as it was used to secure the loader onto the tractor. Send me your e-mail address and I can e-mail you some pics to show you what I mean. Kinda confuzing.I see by your picture that you have a similar one. I dont want you to get in the same situation as I was, If your planning on using the tractor for other stuff as well as plowing snow. I was in PA in June on Bizz ( Harrisburg ) what a great area. You can email me at "[email protected]" with those pics. It is unclear to me if this snow plow uses the 3 pt hitch like your loader, but if it does that could be a pain.

i have a loader on mine tea2085, works great just finished digging a pond for the wife, moved lots of dirt ,tramed a bunch of topsoil over for her, now i have to put the chains on and change the oils and get it ready for plowing snow,my loader is driven from a front mount pump ,i think thats the best way to go some are run from the tranmission but i hear they don,t work well, my loader isn,t anything like the one in the picture though, ive always had a loader on mine and wouldn,t know what to do with out one.
