I've had a TO30 for sometime now and always thought it had a Sherman step up & down in it. (previous owner said so) The shift lever for the 'Sherman' is on the right side of tranny casting. (facing front) I heard recently that a Sherman lever is always on the left side. Is this so? This means that I may have a Hupp up & down. Whatever, it works fine but I would like to know exactly what I have. Any help???
