I HAVE VIEWED MANY FERGUSON & M/FERGUSON PHOTOS IN THE ARCHIVES & OTHER WEB SITES. ALL, OR MOST HAVE THE TYPICAL SINGLE SPRUNG ROUNDED SEAT. THE SEAT ON MY TO IS 17 1/4 X 12" BOTTOM MADE OF 1/2" ANGLE. THE NORMAL SLOTS ARE IN THE BOTTOM FOR FOREWARD & AFT ADJUSTMENT, AND THE ASSY. IS HINGED TO TILT FOREWARD TWARD THE STEERING WHEEL. HOWEVER THERE IS A HINGE AT THE REAR, AS WELL AS A PROGRESSIVE SPRING IN ADJUSTMENT SLOTS TO ACCOMODATE THE WEIGHT OF THE DRIVER. IS THIS AN ELABORATE HOME MADE OR DO YOU KNOW OF A MANUFACTURER? THANKS! THIS IS A WONDERFUL SITE, AND I HOPE TO CONTRIBUE WHEN I CAN.

Ray, Thanks for the lesson in internet manners. I am a mechanic, not a typist,nor an internet person. I will try to keep this in mind, for I would never "scream" at folks as nice and helpful as all of you.

You know, It's much easier to read normal typing than all caps. Typing in caps is the internet equivilent of yelling at someone.

SCOTT, THANKS FOR THE INFO. SEARCHED EBAY. SOME OF THE MASSEY SEATE ARE SIMILAR. MINE HAS A CONTOURED FLAT STOCK BACK AND ROUND STOCK ARM RESTS. THE SEAT, AFTER FREEING UP THE HINGES, IS IN PRETTY GOOD SHAPE. I WAS JUST HOPING TO SEE PHOTOS OR GET INFO ON UPHOLSTRY. THANKS AGAIN FOR THE EFFORT.
