Just purchased a 135 deluxe. It's a great tractor. Right now I have a Ford 8N and a Ford 3000.

The question is:

I have no owners manual for it. The quadrant control has 2 levers. The position control and draft control. Can someone explain to me how the draft and position control quadrants work?

I was told the tractor year is about 1971. The serial number is 9A30794.

Thanks in advance.

The inside lever (nearest to the seat) is position control. Use this lever to hitch to an implement or unhitch or any time you want to maintain a set position, such as a post hole digger. The position control lever has to be in the raised position to use draft copntrol. (the outside lever) Use draft control for plowing or any three point linkage equipment used in the field. I also use it for grading my driveway. It's a great system. Have fun. (An old MF engineer)

John, thank you for the prompt reply. I checked off the Email notification box. John, can you verify if the year of the tractor is correct?

Thanks, again.
