My TED20 requires some hydraulic oil but i do not know when the filling point is on the tractor. And is there any way of checking the level. Any help will be appreciated

The oil filler is the big hexagonal nut to the left of the gear lever - add a load of oil, then wait 10 minutes for the levels to even out between front and rear trans cases, before removing the dipstick which is locate on the right hand side of the tractor, roughly directly below the seat, and slightly forward of the quadrant.

There are three transmission drain plugs, all under the trans, one for the main box, one for the hydraulic area, and one under the differential - from your question, a full oil change might be a good idea - you will need around 6 gallons of oil.

The correct fill up quantity for a TE20 hydraulic/transmission is 5 gallons from empty
