Pulling Piston Sleeves on TO-30

Can I pull piston sleeves on my TO-30 using routine tools or do I need to buy, rent or make special tool. Tips for removing or installing sleeves and pistons would be appreciated. Co-worker says they used to put new sleeves in freezer for several hours to shrink to make intallation easier. Any thoughts?

You need a round plate about 1in. thick same size as the outer sleeve, with a notch to fit inside the sleeve(about a .25in) and a hole drilled in the middle.place on the under side of the sleeve and use a slide hammer puller or hydrolic puller.
