I just looked at a to-35. The owner couldn't tell me what year it is and I was wondering if anyone could identify it for me. The serial # is To-35 144644 and the motor # is z134603432 and on the side of that plat it said pec 13. Is this a good tractor for haying about 6 acers? Hope I get a reply thanks.

Your tractor is a 1955 model...and yes it is a very good tractor for your purpose. it will do much more than you are asking of it. if its sound, buy it.

The info you need should have been under "Serial Numbers" under "Research & Info" listed on the left side of your screen. You did already look there, didn't you?

For the second part of your question: YES. Millions of acres have been hayed with this tractor. Hayed, plowed, drilled, mowed and some things I dare not even think about. In fact, this would be a good question for this discussion group. Good Luck.

Thanks for the info Jimbo it is nice to know there are people out there that will help me out. One more question. The TO-30 ferguson that I am looking at has a 6volt system on it but the owner said he will give me a 12volt system for the tractor all I have to do is put a 12volt battery on it. Also the 3pt hitch didn't move up and down. We looked at the hydralic fluid but it didn't seem like there was much in there. What should I look for. Do you know if a front loader can be put on this tractor as I would like to plow my driveway with it. Thanks Steve O.
