Since i don't have my shop manual yet, i'll ask you. I'm pulling the top off of both trans and diff, any thing going to go flying or drop to the bottom ? For my UK buddies, i have e-mailed 2 parts suppliers in the UK over 5 days ago, no response yet, is this normal.

Apart from the control valve on the end of the control fork, nothing to drop in. just spread the legs on the fork and the valve will come out, but feel it to make sure that is has come out. You can do this through the side cover and the drain pug hole in the bottom of the pump.

Sorry you haven't had much luck with the parts suppliers - some are better than other at checking and responding to emails!! Try a phone call - they'll all be awake now (12:42hrs) at at this email time.

BEFORE you remove the top cover of the hydraulics, make sure you disconnect the control valve linkage from the control valve itself, otherwise when you lift the top cover off, you will break the control valve :( grrrrr !!!

Same needs to be done if you want to drop the oil pump out of the bottom of the trans case - I don' think there is anything else you need to worry about - but I have never done this job, so cannot be absolutely positive - proceed with caution is probably the best approach.
