The other day I was at the M F dealer there was a old Tea 2085 on the lot I went to check it out , The serial # was 3900 something which makes it a 1954 same as mine but under the hood ther was another id plate which said M H F company has any body ever seen this before and was this normal from 1954 to 56 ?

Bob.
I also have a 54 ferguson I have restored.It has a Massey Harris Ferguson ID attached to the Dash close to under the hood.Info I have is that these tractors were imported from England by MF at the time of the take over by MF.Apparently sales in North America of the Ferguson were so strong the plant in Michigan could not produce enough so needed to import.So the tractors we have were built in England and somewhere had the plate attached before they went to the Massey dealears.
