I've recently bought tea20 and are having trouble keeping the revs down on idle wants to over rev itsself all the time , making driving difficult as we have to keep knocking the throttle down all the time. Would could be the problem?

Look under the dash there is a round disc on the throttle shaft between the two disc there is a cork washer (probally not there) this is available at a Massey dealer.

1. Defective governor.
2. Governor arm or linkage between governor and carburetor needs adjustment.
3. Loose or defective throttle shaft or butterfly.
