I've had my TO30 almost a year now and sure do like it. I got mine converted to 12v with blade, single plow, dual row disc, hoist, fork lift and scoop.

It had a cracked manifold and was quit noisy so I tracked down parts on the internet, bought and then installed a new manifold and it run great.

I do have 2 questions.

1. I don't know if I have PTO. Do they all have it and mine just has a cover on it or what?

2. Here's the one that looks pretty unique as I have not seen any reference to it anywhere.

Mine has been converted to run on propane. Came with two BIG bottles (full). Runs real nice and I'm sure is very friendly to the environment. Has anyone heard of this conversion (or could it be factory?) before?

Glad I found this site. Seems to be lot's of good knowledge and friendly folks.

The cover screws off, normal counter-clockwise to remove it.

You should have a pto. Sometimes the cover is a little stuck.

More than likely you have a cover over your pto shaft.Just remove the tube and see if theres a shaft there. If you will email me your tractor serial number I'll see what I can find on it....

Cranks and runs good. I cannot get it to lift the bushhog? Does anyone have any suggestions?

They all have PTO shafts, so look under the cover it will be there for you. The gas conversion was available from the factory and as a fitment later. The engine will have a very long life on gas, no pollution in the oil, no carbon on the valves. Wonderful!
