the first 35 tractors were called FE35 they were painted Grey and Bronze, then they changed the colours to red and grey and the called them MF35. The grey ones were built 1956 - 1957 up to serial number 74655. The FE was the remnants of the Ferguson era then the Massey- Ferguson era began and so did the MF badging. Hope that clears it all for you.

We have a MF35 it has a ID plate on the side of the body dated 5/11/56 and on the motor is 30/11/56 is this one of the first MF35?
Or did they strat building them at the start of 1956?
