When I got my TE20 two years ago the oil pressure gauge was stuck on 15 lbs. Nothing sounded off so I didn't worry too much as the guys before me had run the tractor regularly. This spring I took the gage out and down to the test lab at my company. After applying 80+ psi we got the gauge to move to 30psi and oil shot every where on inside the gauge. I guess I found my problem. I then baught a gauge from the auto store and the fittings were all wrong. Off to the MF dealer and 1 9N,2N,8N gauge later I had one that fit. I snugged it into place replaced my battery and started the old girl up. .... No oil pressure. ..... .....what is that dripping on my foot. ..... ..... ...Rats, I forgot to attach the pressure line to the gauge. Well now I know the line is clear and the back of my dash is well oiled. Popping the hood once more I quickly attached the pressure line and started her up once more. A nice steady 30 psi. After 10min of warming up the oil pressure dropped to just above 25 psi. Happy tractoring all Jeff
