Hello everyone, I just bought a TO30 and I am wondering if I got a good deal. I paid $2000 for it and it has a loader and a backblade. It starts right up and seems to run pretty good, however, the valves for the loader leak and need to have new seals put in. I came across this tractor in the local paper, there is a divorce and farm sale so he just wanted to unload some of his equipment. Where can I find a good repair manual. Serial # is TO68024
Thanks Kevin

Which manual do I need, Under Massey/Ferguson it lists a Massey-Harris 30, 30k is that for the TO 30?

No. Not Massey Harris manual. Get the Ferguson manual(s). There is one for TO-20, TO-30. Also, to your previous post, no, these tractors do not have live PTO. The PTO does stop when you depress the clutch. The 35 Deluxe has a two stage clutch and live PTO, being the first of these tractors in that catergory.

I live in Roy, Wa. 20 miles south of Tacoma. I have not removed the PTO cover yet, is the PTO live on these tractors or does it stop when you push in the clutch?

Welcome to the world of Fergusons! Boy, these guys (not me, I'm a rookie) are EXTREMELY patient and helpful. I just bought a TO30 too and it has a loader. Is yours a Wagner (green)? I don't know where you live, but I'm in St. Paul, Minnesota and there is a place called A-1 Hydraulics that works on cylinders--and makes them. I have a broken one and they would make a new one for $450! They also said that doing the seals on the other (which is what you probably need) is $125 - to give you an idea. I love this little tractor--let's keep in touch! Mark.

this site is extremely helpful. I am a newby with motors and have a to30. Has run great for a few years, but needs a little work now, what do you expect after 50 years! I would like to stay in touch as well.
