hi i am trying to take my steering wheel off, but can't find out how if you can help me please let me know!

Building off David's response, what I would do is loosen the nut, but don't take it off. Then when it pops free, perhaps it won't hit you in the face and/or cause you to flip over the back of the tractor. Try heat from a propane torch, not major heat, then pull when it cools.

Assuming you have the nut in the centre removed it just pulls off BUT it can be very tight. If you sit above it and pull it you will probably not get it to come off and if you do it will hit you in the face no matter how careful you think you are being to avoid it. Guess how I know?

I lashed together a very rough and ready puller to get mine off and after putting a bit of pressure on it with that, bashed the underside oof the spokes with a hammer cushioned with wood until it came free. If I was doing it again I'd take the trouble to beg borrow or make a decent puller and minimise risk of damage from excess force, badly applied.
