does anyone know of a supplier of parts for the Zenith 24T carb in the UK I am missing the link rod from the throttle to the choke

before I put you to all this trouble I will try and get a look at one locally. I think the rod slightly opens the throttle as the choke is operated. I have had parts from all the suppliers you name I find Holland Brand have the keenest prices and are decent to deal with

If the usual spares people (Old 20 Parts, Southern Counties Tractor Spares, Appleby's of Silsden (the breakers), or Holland Brand) can't help you, and you get really stuck, I'll take my carb off, measure the link rod, and send you a drawing of it.

Some stout fencing wire, a pair of pliers, and a drill should mean you can fabricate your own part to fit.
