Do any of you know how much running clearance the oscillator drive fork on the control valve is supposed to have on the camshaft on a TO30 hydraulic pump. Mine has about ¼”, I got one out of another pump and it has about the same clearance. And both of them are not in a perfect U – shape inside where the cam pushes against, but the U -shape is pushed over on one side, but it is still perpendicular with the other side. I can’t find a drawing or no specification’s for it. And I don’t think I could find a new one. Tom

Recommend you purchase a shop manual for the TO30 which gives all the clearance specs for the pump and work cylinder. You will find this book immensely useful. Lots of people reproduce the original in excellent condition.
