Tea20 external hyd. pressure connections

in my IT service manual on to's, they refer to an external pressure connection. do i have this on mine? if not can i add it? what is this tractor/pump capable of running? log splitter? loader? any info would be appreciated.

There should be the one on the top cover like everyone is saying, but you also need to use the plug in the bottom cover(directly below the top cover hole) for the return. If you use a non-ferguson loader or something with large or multipule cylinders I would recommend an external oil resovore. The biggest problem with using the hyd. pump taps is that the pump works offly slow

if you look at the pump cover under the seat on the side you should see a plug screwed in when a hose is hooked to this you have some pressure in my case they are used to run two small hyd cylinders for a manure loader. Probably not enough for a logsplitter.

screw in plug nowhere to be found. is this normal? does anyone know how much pressure is developed? would i need to install a hydraulic valve downstream?

Dave on my TEA 20 1952 on the top cover that the seat bolts to look at the bolts at the front of this cover in between the front two bolts on each side should be a raised portion with a screw in plug. If not I don't see how you could attach remote cylinders short of installing a hyd pump either to PTO or mounted on front pulley. I do not believe you could run a wood splitter on the system anyway and a loader requires lots of pump pressure. My manure loader lifts mostly by the rear lift arms the hyd cylinder only lift blade about 6 inches then rear arms take over. To see apic of a loader go to the url below.

keep in mind this is a manure loader not designed for rock or gravel. Also there is a site at www.paulsonloaders.com that shows an aftermarket loader for Fords or Ferguson.
