Does anybody know if the rims on the original oil pressure and ammeter gauges on the TO-20 were chrome or black. I've had a pretty hard time finding out what the original faces looked like - answer, nobody seems to be sure, but generally black with white lettering. Now, were the rims black or chrome plated. Time recently spent in a tractor graveyard with both old Fergusons and old Fords, was inconclusive since so many of them had obiously had many pieces replaced over time before thay were scrapped. Pictures in most books are from the front of the tractor, or low enough down on the rear to hide the instruments. So, what do you think?

For what its worth, our TE series all had chrome bezels, white background, and black lettering/numbers.
