Valve rotor caps

I have a 1954 TO-30 with a Z129 engine.Where can I find the little caps that set on top of each valve spring.I lost one while taking the head off. Thanks,M.Kirkland

I didn't have any when I started on a Ferguson here...but I did have a twist drill that I ground flat bottom and some drill rod and a lathe and made them. Heated them up to a dull cherry red and quenched in water...figured if that didn't crack them...they would be about as hard as could be. Worked for a few years now and valves haven't needed adjusting yet. Any hardenable tool steel should work if you have to make them....fact of the matter is...any tough steel such as high carbon should work without heat treating. I imagine you could probably get along without them...what are they for? So the valve can rotate? So the valve tip won't wear...lots of other engines don't have them...just an opinion. Find an auto parts dealer with a Sealed Power catalog. Rotocaps for Fergusons are in there. They're the same as used on General Motors trucks.
