i have a 1951 TO30 with the metal seat on it,i recently had a surgery and need the most comfortable seat i can get,i looked through northern hydraulics catalog they have a good selection but i don't know if they would bolt right on, any help on finding one would be greatly appreciated,i could spend up to $150.00 for a good one,something with lots of cushion and suspension(springs, hydraulic etc.)also would i keep the spring on that is under the seat now or does that get removed?

Whole assembly comes off , leaving two little studs .Don't shortchange on a seat , there are real good ones in your price range , get one with a full width cushion so that your tail dont hang over the edge if you turn sideways.

The guy near me has an old Farmall with a captain's chair from a Ford van on it.
