Help Please, My trusty To-30 has a miss on number one cylander. I replaced the plugs, cap and rotor. Runs better but still a miss. Actually runs better without #1 hooked up, but not enough power. Swapped wires, same thing. Suggestions?
Also , it is possible that my mechanic put the wrong wires on the wrong plug. My manual had a picture, followed it and it wouldn't start at all. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank You

Firing order is 1-3-4-2 .You should see this cast on the block on the same side as the distributor right below the valve cover.

The distributor spins counter clockwise !

Could be many things.

1) burned valve
2) leaky head gasket
3) broken valve spring
4) wiring to plugs in wrong order

I believe the firing order is 1-2-4-3. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I don't have the manual infront of me.

Check the wiring sequence. If they're right, then do a compression check.
