TE20 z129 head bolt torque

Would like to know the sequence and foot # of torque for the Z129 head bolts on a model TE20.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

First, The Z-129 is the engine that was standard for the TO-30. A TE20, which is also what I have, came origionally with a Z-120 engine. Your tractor had a engine up grade perhaps?

That said, The bolts are tightened in the same manor. Tighten the head nuts from the center out and use s torque wrench for final tightening to 70 to 75 ft-lb. From the manual, "tightening the nut in the wrong sequence on a dry gasket may result in a cracked cylinder head."

The Diagram shows three rows of bolts and numbers in this order.

..... .(10)...(9)...(3)...(7)...(12)...

The blank line above represents the off-set of the center row. Also, I cannot get the spacing on the numbers just right. The 6-4-9 line up as do the 2-1-3 etc.

After closer inspection of the serial number, you are correct. The engine is a z120 Your information on the sequence of the bolts is greatly appreciated and many thanks for you assistance. Time now to see if I can get this little jewel up and running.

I found the Ferguson Dealer Shop Manual and the Owners manual quite useful. They are well worth the investment. for around $30 tota
