The TE20 I have has been re wired and the lights are not hooked up. I would like to fix the wiring the rest of the way.

I have a 6 volt system. Any suggestions on wire guage?

Jeff

Jeff, as Jim W indicated, I have looked into this issue. I am not sure what you meant by "rewired", but for the headlamps, 14 guage is ok and 16 guage inside the lamp if you need to do that. You can use 14 guage to the back lights as well. There was a main wire with a 20 amp fuse in the original wiring which went to the power connection in a switch. Since this wire takes all the load from front and back it should be 12 guage to be compatible with the 20 amp fuse. For your tractor you should install a separate light switch just left of the ammeter 2 and 1/2 inches.

Visit this website for the original schematic. Select electrical in the left column.

Do you mean "what is the wire gauge for the lights for a 6 volt system?"
Phil the lighting authority Fenner is best suited to answer this question.
You out there Phil?
