Phil, I loved your article on the headlights. it was very useful. I have a couple of questions? Where do you get the W clips? Also my TO30 had some kind of lights on it but evidently not ones with wings,as the little hole behind the bigger one was never punched out. Mine is a 1951 model. It has Ford lamps on it now because I just bought a used set of Ferguson lamps and am going to redo these to install. Does anyone make the conduit to go up by the motor? Thanks Shawn

I am looking for a good original tail light for my TO-20. Am I to understand from your article that the 9N and 2N tail lights are the same as the ones for the TO-20? They are both made by Taurus as I understand. If they are the same once repainted who would know?
I'll keep on looking.

I gave not detected any difference between a Ford Taurus and a Ferguson Taurus so look for a Taurus tail light from Ford or Ferguson salvage yds, as there are no reproductions that I have found.

Shawn, I goofed as the conduit protection for the front lamp wiring runs along the LEFT side on the oil pan, not the right as I said in previous message. Sorry.

Yes, it was a bit of work but I enjoyed it. Nothing for a while though! Paul Nelson did a great job in editing it for the newsletter. He made it much more enjoyable to read.

I also want to thank you for the article. At the Ferguson Expo in Salem last year, I took a number of pictures of the tractors trying to pinpoint how the wiring should be run. This will help out a lot. I can't wait for Ferguson Expo 2003 in MT Pleasant IA.
