When I connect my rotatory cutter, its a 5',using the correct step-up adapter, to my TO30, the pto shaft is very sloppy. Is there any way I can get this slop out. Lifted half up it viberates very bad. Thank you, neil

Besides having a sloppy pto shaft, is there a chance that the pto shaft is too long and bottoming out. At about the halfway up position, the shaft is at the least clearance position. I had to cut off a little bit on both pieces of the shaft on my cutter to prevent bottoming out.

Are you useing an adaptor? The splines must be bad,you migth be better to get a standard shaft. I think tisco herschel or A+I products would have it.Dealers or small shops or junk yards can get the part.
