I have a 7' front snow plow and mounts for my Ferguson TO30 tractor. The plow can be adjusted with ease for straight or side to side plowing. It was set up to work with independent hydraulics. The plow works great and on that tractor it looks like it wouldn't be able to push snow, but it really amazed me. I've pushed snow 2 feet deep with ease (chains and wheel weights). I recently bought a plow for my 4-wheeler and an considering selling the 7' plow since I can be more mobile with my wheeler (and 4-wheel drive). My question is, how much should I ask for this plow and frame (excellent condition)?

i also have a t30 with a meyers 7foot blade up front this has up down left and right control and is a pleasure to plow snow with. ZANE Sherman who is an expert on the hydraulics for these old tractors helped me set it up. I would not part with this for love nor money ,so i urge you to think twice before you get rid of something that works so well,Zane Sherman,s site can be easily found on this site and he is easy to talk to

Thanks everyone for your comments. I'm still not 100% sure if I'll sell this, but I was curious as to the worth. I'm waiting for another snow storm to try out the wheeler. I plow now for family/friends and the mobility of a wheeler was enticing.

My apologies to anyone that took offense to my post on a discussion board about this. My intent was to get opinions on a price, not to actually sell it yet. If I do determine to sell, I'll put it in the ad section after the next snow storm in south central PA.

Paul - nice try, but for $100, I think I'll keep it. Doesn't hurt to try though.

Steve, If you want to sell post on the Marketplace as already mentioned. But if I were you I would keep it. Your 4 wheeler is for play not work like the Fergy. Also if you sell it you will soon be like me, looking to buy a front blade, which are hard to find.

Never sell or throw anything away until you are sure that you don't need it . Take a look at how long that 35 has been around compared to any 4 wheeler , ditto for the plow . I'd put my money on the tractor anyday after a big storm . My 2 cents (Canadian)---Bill

My neighbor traded his 8-n with snow plow plus some cash for a 4-wheel drive ATV. He shovel's his driveway a lot more these days.
