Hydraulic problems

My 1950 TO-20 seems to have lost some of its lifting power. It barely has enough powor to pick up my disk. When I drop the disk down I can feel some resistants in the lever. The lever and the disk do not want to stay down and I have to hold it down to keep the disk in the ground. Is there an adjustment that would solve this problem?

Thanks, Richard Garcia - Exeter California

I'd suspect the spring that attaches to the yoke is broken or missing. You can see the spring from the right/left side inspection plate with a flashlight. There is a picture of the entire hyd assembly in the owners manual. Search this board back about 6 months and find a discussion on this and links to online blowups of the hyd system.
