TO-20 Lift Stuck

It's been 5 days and it still hasn't come down. There is a couple of inches of movement of the arms. I've loosened the adjustment at the spring (top link connection) and played with the draft control (sliding the pivot forward). In between I've been bouncing my weight (210 lbs.) on the end of a fence post trying to pry down on the lift...

Any other suggestions??

Needed to make a new gasket for the cover, drained the fluids and reassembled (with the forks tightened up a bit). I just need to pick up new Mineral Oil and test it out.

You may have a stuck control valve or a problem with your control linkage. With the lift up and the PTO disengaged take the inspection port off the right side where the hydraulic dipstick is. You should be able to reach your hand in and manually pull the control valve (in the fluid)towards the rear of the tractor. This should allow the lift to drop. Assuming it does If it does not the passage is either blocked with ice or some other crap. I think this is the case with mine

If it does then you may need to clean your control valve or play with the linkage spring inside the housing. On the TO-20 you can spread the control forks to disengage the control valve and slide it out without dropping the pump. To get it back into the control forks cut a small block of wood slightly longer than the T on the control valve to aid spreading the forks. It's a two handed job in a one handed space

I dropped my pump this summer, took apart the valves and flushed it on a parts washer for about 20 minutes. I did my best not knowing the exact configuration of the passages I was flushing. It lifted great but still dropped somewhat slower than I remembered. 3 months later it lowered very slowly. Now it doesn't move.

I'm going to tap off a pressure port and run a drain through a valve back to the transmission housing as a work around so I can plow.
