I RECENTLY BOUGHT A TO 30 AND WAS TOLD IT WAS CONVERTED TO 12VOLTS.EVERYTHING LOOKS ORIGINAL EXCEPT FOR THE BATTERY. THIS TRACTOR ALSO HAS NEGATIVE GROUND WHICH I UNDERSTAND IS NOT RIGHT. ANYONE HAVE A WIRING DIGRAHM OR A SUGGESTION ?

What Ray says. Also, if it has been converted to 12 volts, it probably is negative ground now. The 6 volt generator might have been converted to 12 volts, or (and this is usually the case) it may now have an alternator in place of the original generator.

This tractor originally was 6VDC pos ground. If it has been converted you must have a different generator, its nameplate will identify the voltage. You may view/download the original wiring schematic from:
