I have read several messages about using mineral oil in the gear box / hydraulics on the TO35 that I have. I currently have 80/90 (I think) oil in it. The only problem I have is that the Hydraulics drop quickly when the tractor is off or the clutch is pressed in.
Is the mineral oil thicker.? I think I may need to replace the Master control valve in my Hydraulic pump but might the mineral oil help.?

Hmmmmm m... Things that make you wonder....

Phil is probably right on this one but I would like to add that maybe you should change your oil with the proper type being Mineral 80-90 if you are not sure of the quality. Massey dealers sells it as M1103 with GL1 designation.

Probably not. If your lift drops quickly when you depress the clutch, and assuming you have it full of some type of decent fluid, probably it is a relief valve or some such and not the fluid.
