Howdy Steve-
I'm a Ford owner, but a Ferguson wanna-be! The Plough Wrench #TO-17014? was issued with the plough and with the toolkit for the Ferguson-Brown tractor beginning in 1936. The inch rule was for measuring plow furrow depth and width, NOT a gas gauge as often mistakenly called. It changed to the 9N17014 with the Ford-Ferguson 9N tractor only with the FORD logo and then the FoMoCo logo in 1950. Ford and Ferguson never called it a "gas gauge", that is a myth. After the split, Ferguson called it MHF 180-108. HTH.

Oh, by the way, the wrench sizes are 11/16 inch and 1-1/16 inch. The M1 is the Moore Drop Forge Company of Springfield, Massachusetts, and the 1 represents the mold number.

Every H. Ferguson tractor came with a set of wrenches for owner maintanence, and they fit most every nut, bolt on the tractor. The number you quote is the part no. of the wrench set I believe.
