I was running my TO today when all of a sudden it starting making a racket
and vibrating. I discovered I lost 2 fan blades, opposite ones that sheared
3/4 of the way down. Though the 4 bolts that mount it seem tight, I note a
little wobble on the 'cup' that the fan bolts to..... has the waterpump
pully....Does anyone know first; where I can get a fan, and is there
supposed to be any wobble in that pully? It was dark and I couldn't start
any diagnostics..
But I will need a fan....
Do you think I could cut the remaining parts of the broken blade reminents
off and run it with 2 blades if I can't find a replacement?? Thanks for your
help...A supplier of take off parts would really be a help...

Coming home one evening....years ago in an old 49 chevy pickup truck and heard the noise and vibration that you are talking about. Shut her down and got out to examine...and found one blade had come off the fan. Still had about ten miles to go, so, wiggled the blade on the opposite side till I broke it off. Got in and drove her till next summer when my conscience got the best of me and I thought the heat would get the best of her and changed it. As far as I could see...it didn't change the temperature that she ran at...So...it probably won't hurt to run your tractor that way either. L8R....Fred OH
