I recently purchased a 1952 T30 thaat that came with a 7' Meyers plow up front.It had no conrols except for partial up off rear hydraulics.I called Zane Sheman,after our first conversation he knew how to solve my problem.He designed a conrol valve which gave me up and down,left and right control of this otherwise useless blade.He talk me through all my weak areas ,which included hydraulics and plumbing.In one weekend I got everything installed and lo and behold no leaks and it works perfectly. I even asked him to make up the hydraulic line with the sizes I specified and with the quick connects I asked for.I called him a dozen times and he always had time to help me. I am also sending some tips to Zane which maybe helpful to the next person who does a live thang or a Zane thang on a T30. So any one out there who is trying to jury rig a hydraulic system for blade or bucket on the front of a t20 or t30 I highly recommend calling Zane Sherman,he is easy to talk to and not hard on the pocketbook either.

With access to a workable Meyers plow and a jeep that runs it on its last legs, how were you able to configure that plow to attach to a TO-30?
And how do you get the hydraulics? I'm supposing a hydraulic drive that works off the front end of the tractor, right? New at this older tractor stuff, but willing to expand its utility.

Enjoyed all the telephone conversations.

As for the jeep hydraulics, You could use a small oil reservoir and a belt driven hydraulic pump and a two spood control valve to operate the three cylinders on the plow but it would take a little Yankee injinuity to do it.

There is also a self contained 12 volt hydraulic system that is fairly enexpensive that could be used to accomplish the same thing.
