Steve, I found two ROPS, a standard and a folding at www.bareco.com.au. This is an Australian outfit that does have retail outlets in the US. I contacted one in California. Just go to the bareco web address and ask them to get you in contact with the dealer closest to you.

Don't know but I bet one for a Ford 9N/2N/8N will fit, and those Ford guys seem to have everything available for their beautifully restored trailer-queen specimens of inferior engineering... :)
---so if they have a ROPS it will also look good....oh boy I am digging my own grave here; better stop

Jim,
That was not nice !

Seriously , I have a Ford 2N , a Ferguson 30 and a JD 40 .

I like the comfort and gear shift of the Ford , the comfort and power of the Ferguson , and the hyraulics ( live ) and the sound of the JD 40 best .

I love them all !

Sorry about that; got a bit carried away. You know, if someone dropped a Ford off in my yard I would be thankful. I just really like the overhead valves on the Fergie.
Actually had a chance to look over a TE20, MF35, 9N, and 8N today at a local ploughing match (at this board's frequent contributor Bill McPherson's). Kind of interesting to see them gathered together.

PS The most reliable looking of the bunch were the heavy horses!

Because of liability issues, most people will not sell you a ROPS to go on a tractor that was not designed for one. I found a local welder who fabricated one for me.

It wrecks the looks of the tractor to put a ROPS on it; maybe not as bad as getting blood all over it.

Do the right thing.

Frank
