TE 20 Won't Disengage in Reverse

Tractor keeps going in reverse after clutch has been disengaged. The clutch disengages fine in the forward gears. It has just started doing this. It has been working good. Is there an adjustment that can be made? Thanks for any info.

I suspect oil, grease, and dirt on the clutch material and flywheel may be contributing to the problem. This will cause the clutch to stick to the flywheel, as will rust. To adjust the clutch, insert a bar into the hole in the end of the clutch arm coming from the engine. Loosen the clutch pedal binding bolt at the clutch arm. Tighten up the clutch slack with the bar and adjust the clutch pedal to have 3/16" clearence between it and the foot peg. Tighten the binding bolt, release pressure, and remove the bar from the clutch arm. My TO30 had a sticky clutch when I got it from Dad(1989). I just eased up to a large tree and slipped the clutch until it began to smell. I've not had a problem since. Guess it rubbed off the rust and gunk.
