I have a Dearborn loader to put on my TO-30. The loader is set up with a pump that runs off the crank (front mounted type). Is there a way to run the loader hydraulics off the PTO instead ? ( or anywhere else ? ) Any ideas out there ??

Thanks Gary, I'd like to try tapping into the existing hydraulics. I don't have the shaft or connectors to hook up the pump on the front. Anyone had experience connecting loader hydraulics to a TO-30? I know the ports are under the seat, but that's as far as i've come with it !!

There are pumps available that run off the PTO.But It would not be "live" ie: when you press the clutch in your PTO will stop and your pump will no longer pump. New PTO pumps run $650-$750 at Princess Auto in Canada. Do you have the bracket and shaft for the front pump or did the loader come off another make of tractor? Having the pump on the front would allow you to run other hydraulics if need be. Many other folks have just tapped into the tractors internal pump and used it for operating a loader.
