I am new to the Ferguson tractors( I am really an A-C guy but found another fixer upper tractor)Anyways, I found what i thought at a distance was a Ford 8n or 9n but turned out to be a Ferguson with the serial NO. of TO-24461, made in detroit MI. Tractor tin is all there and is all strait but a little rusty in the back end. tranny is free, BUT MOST ENGINE PARTS ARE MISSING! carb and manifold are gone, fan is gone, no spark plugs, starter is gone, so really the engine itself has nothing on it. It is probably stuck. Tires are flat, typical but not a big deal. So my question is, 1. What model is this, 2. how much would engine parts cost, and 3. how much should i pay if owner is willing to sell? Thanks in advance to anybody who can help me out.

Don, glad to know that an "orange man" can appreciate a little "gray."

The SN would indicate you have a 1950 Ferguson TO-20.

The missing parts are available. If you wish, I can e-mail you a list of good used part sources. You can call about prices from that list.

As far as price, you should be able to buy that tractor for about $300-500, I would think.
