Can anyone tell me a good seat replacement for a TO-30? Tried to search this site but not working.

I repaired the seat on mine about 25 years ago with a couple of pices of steel , still holding . We don't use the old Fergie much , but other day , I needed an extra tractor on a borrowed hay rake , spent 5 hours with Fergie raking hay . Kind of like reliving back when I was 10 years old , me and the Fergie in charge of the raking . The old girl took it well , probably enjoyed it , that old Standard was purring like a kitten , but I'm 50 now , had forgotten how hard that darn steel pan seat could be , but I'll be OK tomorrow---Bill

Well the seat on the Ferguson is pretty dreadfull. I have played with the idea of replacing it, but am afraid to alter it as the tractor is stock.

It is sort of like the colur. You want to keep it original, but then the original isn't much to look at.

I put one of these guys on my TO 20. I used the pan job for 7 years and its just too short coupled for my long legs. I started to get sharp pains up my legs every time I worked the clutch. That made me get one of these guys and I just love it. You don't have to change anything but remove the 2 bolts and set the new adjustable spring loaded seat on. Link No more nasty old pan seat for the Drizler, no way.

Just in case all the Ns and Ferguson springs and seats will fit the Ferguson along with a lot of other tractors. Mark H.

Thanks Phil. I think I only need the pan as it is rusted out and wobbles back and forth. My dad has used it that way for years and I want to replace it for him.
