Hi I am also changing the trans oil in my 1955 TO-35. It only has two drain plugs. My dealer said to flush trans with 10 gals of diesel or home heating oil. Put it in and drive 100 yards or so. He did say you might find some weak seals but felt this was the way to remove mineral/water milkshake. He also said to use Massey-Ferguson Permatrans 3 Trans/Hyd oil, pn 841813m1. Recomended for M1129 1129a M1191 stated onthe label. I did not find anyone local (CT) who had the older mineral based products. Richard Friedrich

Richard - Lots of discussion has been written on this subject. I changed the hyd oil in my 1955 TO-35 last month. I have heard of flushing with diesel only. I drained 2 gal hyd oil out, added 2 gal of diesel and worked it a while like that - then drained it immediately. I refilled with (80/90wt) mineral oil pn MF841718M1 ...for M1103. Got it at a MF (Agco) Dlr in Iowa. It comes in 2 1/2 gal jugs and took most of 3. They're proud of it...$23+ per jug. This is the only oil that I know that is recommeded. Yes, mine has just 2 drain plugs, also. Hope this helps. Mike P
