I am new to these old tractors. My 1953 TO30 is tough to get into gear. I am wondering if there is a clutch adjustment, and if so were is it and how do I do it?

The adjustment is on the pedal/shaft clamp point. Stick a bar into the hole in the clutch shaft, loosen the clamp bolt on the clutch pedal, and while holding the bar snug against the pressure plate springs-ie: eliminate free travel- adjust the clutch pedal to leave 3/16" between the clutch pedal and the foot peg. Tighten the clamp bolt and recheck the clutch pedal for 3/16" free travel referenced.
