I will soon be tearing down my 35 to pait and have a few questions for the experienced. In one of the books I have read it suggest cleaning the traactor with a lye cleaning solution, without telling the mixture to use. I know lye is caustic an was hoping someone could let me know if they had used this befor and how it worked? If not the lye what is best to use to degrease? Also which primer is best, etching vs none? Is there a Bondo product that is better than the others. Thanks for any advice provided.
