I just purchased a TEA 20, it had water in the transmision oil so I drained and flushed it. What do I use and how do I tell when it is full? Is the rear diff and Hydraulics separate from the trans. as it still has oil in it but has a low level, what type of oil do I use there. I will be purchasing a manual so I won't have to ask so many questions. Does any one know where I can get a manual in Canada My local dealer can only get them for the TO 20. Thanks again

petrocanada has an oil called duratran tractor and tramission , i have been using it for years an have never had any problems,i use mine mostly in winter for snow but alot in the summer for clean up to ,its 1954 fergie

HEADS UP!!!!
I had water in my tranny also, TO-20. It was causing my hydralics to go weak.
HOWEVER, I had to drain the thing 3 time to fianlly get out all the water. The first time I used 90 wt replacement, the 2nd time, because of the cost, I used regular trany/hydralic oil from my local tractor store.
The CULPRIT: Water was leaking down into the trany case throught the gear shifter opening enev though I packed it with grease. An Old Timer suggested putting a plastic baggie over the housing and sealing it as close to shut as possible.
First re-pack the linkage.
I worked preety good. Gotta love the Old Timers!!!

The transmission/rear/hydraulics all work off of common fluid (90 weight mineral oil). There are a total of 3 drain plugs- one under the tranny, one under the rear and one under the PTO, if you still have oil in there....you probably didn't drain from all the plugs.

Use 90 Mineral oil for what you asked. I believe the dealer number is M1103. Do a search for that number in archives you'll get lots more info. Also engine uses non-detergent 30.
