i had a post asking if they would interchange, thinking i may of had some bad valves. well when i pulled off the valve cover, i found one of the valve stem caps on no.3 intake fell off and laying on the head. i reset the clearances to .015. ist time i ever did this. the tractor ran better but still bogged down and quit. i changed the points and a new coil, same thing. i had a spare carb off of a to-20, so why not. threw it on, the tractor fired up and after a little tweaking on the the timing and throttle linkage, ( i retarded it a bit) she's running great. i brush hogged for two hours and no problems, i had put a rebuild kit in this spring, but the kit had just the throttle body, and needle valve on the float. thanks for the info guys.
