Just purchased tractor and before I can discuss anything about it I need help to determine just what I have. I.D. Plate provides Ser # as TO 13791 includes numerous Patent #'s and gives manufacture as Harry Ferguson, Inc. On side of hood are the words Ferguson 30.
Help from anyone would be great and would assist me in the needed minor repairs.

See serial number link in column at left on this page. It appears you have a 1950 TO-20 that someone has outfitted with incorrect TO-30 decals. Either that or someone replaced the steering box and dash where the serial plate is with a TO-20 steering box and didn't change the serial plate. But just to be sure, tell us a couple of things: Does the motor number begin with "Z129..." or with "Z120..."? The 30 came with the Z129 and the 20 came with the Z120. Second, is the oil filter on the side of the block or inside the oil pan. On the 30 it is on the side of the block. Let us know.
