just got my new set of plug wires...did'nt realize i would need to make up the distruber ends myself....anybody have a method of installing the terminals on the ends of the cable..will a pliers suffice in order to crimp..do you need to strip the cable end befor putting on the terminal?..although the instructions are'nt much help,it does appear to be a simple proccess...just wondering if i'm missing something...thanks

My method is a little different than Chuck's, I usually strip off about a half an inch down to the copper (you did get copper, didn't you?) slide on the rubber boot (spitting on it will help it go on better) and fold back the stripped end over the outside and then the metal part and crimp it. I have found that the crimping tool that is used to crimp cable tv ends on will work just fine. Looks as good as a factory job and you're sure to have metal to metal contact. L8R....Fred OH

If they're like the ones I used, you slide the cups onto the wires, push the metal terminals on the ends, and crimp them with pliers. They work fine. If there's a different way, maybe somebody can jump in.
