Going thru and old shed of my fathers and found his model TO 35 Ferguson serial #158199. Could someone please give information about this o'l girl so I can get her back to work. I ordered a rear wheel and I'm pretty sure the gas tank is leaking and the seat is a mess but other than that she looks OK. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You

You'll need to go thru the fuel system and perhaps the ignition to some extent. The fuel will have turned to varnish in the carb and tank, if any was left there. You will need to clean it completely from the tank to the sediment bowl to the carb. Inside the carb the main jet, the one you have to remove with a long slim socket and has lots of small holes, is a key item to clean. If it was running when parked, you might escape most ignition work by just replacing the plugs and perhaps plug wires and putting in a new battery. That's where I would start. Once running, you will want to change the fluids. Of course, make sure you have coolant before you run it much and watch the temp!

Welcome to the Fergie club , you are the owner of a 1955 TO-35. The TO-35 came out in 1954 and apparently there was two different color shemes (cream/green and cream/grey before it changed to red and grey in 1958.
For a good tip on finding info for your tractor, at the top of the ferguson page go to "search" and put in TO35 and you will bring up all the postings on the tractor that others have posted, its a good way of getting info that might be of use.

Actually, there are three colour schemes, my 55 TO 35 Deluxe(#140963) had grey sheetmetal and green castings when it came out of the factory. Evan MacDonald
