I have a TO-30 with a badly cracked block, water running in all cylinders. I have found a few repaired blocks but none of the places would stand behind them. They say that this is a weak point in these blocks and that they will crack again sooner or later no matter what you do.Finding a good block that has not been cracked has proved to be impossible for me so far.My question is if what they are telling me is true am i going to be doing this again in just a matter of time? What should i do? Thanks for all advise

Try some Canadian suppliers , not only cheaper but a LOT of Fergie parts north of border , look for Fawcetts in St. Mary's for a start.

I recently heard that the Z134 engine (from a TO35) had a heavier block and didn't suffer from these problems.
I don't know if it would fit, but if so, that might be an option for you.

They all do not crack! Mine has no cracks and is 50 years old and the block I removed from my TO-30 which punched a hole in the side of the block is not cracked. One day I will repair the 1 inch hole and sell the block. They seem to be hard to find not cracked tho. Mark H.
