To 30 z129 engine / oil spray hole in rod

hello , i have pulled down this engine and found the oil spray hole in each rod on the same side as the camshaft , my book says the oil spray hole faces away from camshaft side of engine , this can be a little misleading , with rods installed should the hole be on the same side as the cam . I also would like advice on the bearings ,this tractor has 135 compression on all 4 cylinders im pulling it down to find a knock and found the #4 rist pin bushing is worn badly, i think someones been in and put all new bearings and sleeves and pistons and did not put in pin bushins all bearings look and check good (new style front main ) so should i reverse the rods on the pistons the way they should be,and should i install all new piston pin bushings or just replace the pin bushing that is bad . this engine is very good shape, it just had this annoying small knock and just had to fix it . thanks for any advice in advance

My IT manual reads the same as yours. Sounds like your rods are in backwards to me. I would put them in per the book and install new bushings.
I would plastigauge the crank to make sure the clearances are within spec.

yeah i have to agree , i done some other research today and all agrees to us . thanks for your pro opinion , i will plastigauge the crank tommorow
