would anyone have the corect firing order for the distibutor on my TEA20-85? the cap does not have the order on it ,and I,m thinking that might be why I,m having the back fire,When I took off the hose from the air filter to the carb everytime it backfired there was blow back out the carb.not alot and the engine kept running Ive changed the plugs, checked the gap on them and the points in the distributer, changed the gas ,checked the compression .I am going to change the cap and rotor next ,any advice would be appreciated..... Hi Brian

Yes, you are probarbly right, because mine did the same (TEA 20-80), and if im not completely wrong..... .It is like this..... 1 2
3 4
The rotor turns counter clock wise, and the fiering order is 1 3 4 2, so then it should be right..

If im incorrect, somone Please correct me...

Firing order is definitely 1342.
